Sedation Dentistry Rowlett & Garland:
For many going to the dentist is a scary thought and causes many to skip their regular dental appointments. Sedation dentistry now gives individuals with dental anxiety the opportunity to have regular dental visits in a relaxed comfortable state. Imagine kicking back in one of our comfortable sedation rooms and waking up to a beatiful smile. It really is that easy, you will relax in one of our rooms, listening to relaxing music, and wake up and your procedure is done!
We offer two different types of sedation for our sedation patients. Conscious sedation involves the patient receiving oral pills or nitrous oxide (laughing gas) which will put you into a very drousy state. Unconscious sedation dentistry involves the use of I.V. sedation or general anesthesia which will put you completely out during the procedure. Unconscious sedation is more often used during the more complicated dental procedures. With unconscious dental sedation you will be completely out during the procedure and have no memory of the procedure being performed.
